11:40 a.m. Six people deep at the Square register, a card reader waiting on a tap, and the phone going on the back counter. You cannot ring up the line and answer that call, so the call loses. Siya picks it up in one ring, takes the whole order, and leaves a printed ticket for you to key in when the line clears. From $29 per month.
Swap in your own numbers with the missed-call calculator.
No hand-waving. Here is every step from the ring to the pickup, including the part where a human still does the typing.
Step 4 is the honest part. AskSiya does not push orders into Square, does not read your Square catalog, and does not touch your Square payments. Your menu lives in the AskSiya dashboard and someone re-enters the finished order in Square, exactly the way they would from a paper ticket.
Whether that is worth it depends on what you compare it to. Against a staffed phone it is extra typing. Against the phone you genuinely cannot reach at 11:40 a.m., it is a complete, already-confirmed order sitting on a screen instead of a caller who hung up and ordered down the block. Most single-location shops find the ticket takes well under a minute to key.
There is a no-typing path available now for anyone who wants to build it. The AskSiya REST API and outbound webhooks are live, so every order can be pulled from GET /orders or delivered to your endpoint as an order.created event. Start with the API documentation, or connect it without writing code using a catch hook in Zapier.
A direct connection that files phone orders into Square by itself is on our roadmap. It is not built, and we will not put a date on it here. Square is a good register and a lot of our customers already run on it. AskSiya is the phone layer sitting in front of it, not a replacement for it.
Want to be first in line when it ships, or want to argue for it moving up the list? Send us a note and say what you run.
Most counter shops fit the $29 Starter plan and its 150 included minutes; $99 buys 500 minutes and $199 buys 1,000, and annual billing gives you two months free. Phone ordering is the restaurant order taking add-on at +$49/mo, free on Pro and free on every plan during early access. Starter and Growth auto-upgrade at 110% of included minutes instead of billing overage, so a surprise catering week never cuts off your calls.
Compare plans on the pricing page, read the cafe and bakery edition, tour the full restaurant product, or browse the rest of the integrations directory.
A voicemail is a phone number and a half-finished thought. Siya finishes the transaction: she takes the full order from your menu, prices it, reads it back with tax, gets a name and a pickup time, and puts a printable ticket on your order board. You key it into Square when the counter clears instead of playing phone tag with someone who has already eaten somewhere else.
Not today. There is no native Square integration and no live catalog sync. Your menu lives in the AskSiya dashboard, the finished order lands on the AskSiya order board with a printable ticket, and a person re-enters it in Square. Native Square sync is on our roadmap without a promised date, and our REST API and outbound webhooks are live now if you would rather automate the handoff yourself.
Yes. Conditional call forwarding sends Siya only the calls you cannot take: forward on busy, forward on no answer, forward on a schedule, or forward only after close. Answer the phone yourself whenever you have a free hand and nothing about your setup changes.
You upload your menu to the AskSiya dashboard once, with sizes, milks, add-ons, and prices, and set your tax rate. Siya quotes from that menu and reads the tax-included total back before she ends the call. Change a price in the dashboard and the next call uses it.
Most one-location shops sit on the $29 a month Starter plan with 150 included minutes; $99 buys 500 minutes and $199 buys 1,000, with two months free on annual billing. Phone ordering adds the $49 a month order taking add-on, which is free on Pro and free on every plan during early access. The 7-day trial includes 30 minutes and needs no card.
