Independent shops on Clover run lean: one station on the counter, a printer in the kitchen, and a phone that rings hardest exactly when nobody can reach it. Siya answers every one of those calls in one ring, takes the order with the modifiers, and prints a ticket you key in when you have a hand free. From $29 per month.
You run one location, maybe two. A pizzeria, a deli, a takeout kitchen. A bank rep or a merchant services salesman sold you the Clover Station a few years back, it handles cards fine, and the kitchen printer does its job. You have no interest in swapping any of it.
Your phone is a different story. It is a real revenue channel, it peaks between 5 and 8, and nobody is standing next to it. The owner grabs it, or the counter person grabs it mid-transaction, or it rings out. Nobody at your shop has time to wear a headset.
That is the gap AskSiya fills. Not a smarter register, not a replacement for Clover. A phone person who works every hour you are open and every hour you are not.
Everything below is on every plan, from the $29 Starter up.
Half and half, extra sauce on the side, no onions on the second one, well done. Siya works from the menu you upload, applies your options exactly, and reads the order back with the tax-included total.
Street, unit, buzzer code, and driver notes all land on the ticket. Describe your delivery boundaries in her instructions and she offers pickup instead when an address sits outside them.
Repeat-caller memory recognizes the number, greets the caller by what they usually get, and can rebuild the last order in seconds. Your Thursday regular stops having to explain himself.
A caller starts in English and moves to Spanish, Punjabi, or Mandarin halfway through. Siya follows without being asked, on every plan, never as an extra line item.
Robocalls, cold calls, and the people selling you a new terminal get screened before anybody in your shop stops what they are doing.
When a caller genuinely needs a person, Siya transfers to the counter phone, the kitchen, or your cell. Up to five labeled numbers, routed by rules you write.
Here is the part most companies bury. AskSiya does not send orders into Clover. Nothing installs on your Station, nothing reads your Clover catalog, and no payment touches your merchant account through us. Your menu lives in the AskSiya dashboard, and a finished call lands on the AskSiya order board as a printable ticket.
Somebody then keys that ticket into Clover, the same way they would key an order off a pad. That is real work and we will not call it magic. It is also a fraction of what it replaces: items priced against your menu, every modifier written out, the address and buzzer code there, the total already confirmed out loud. Nobody calls anybody back.
Set that against the alternative. Voicemail gets you a name and a number, if the caller bothers, and by the widely cited industry estimate about 85% do not. A phone ringing out at 6:15 gets you nothing. Price the difference in the missed-call calculator.
If you have a developer or already use automation tools, the retyping is optional. The AskSiya REST API and outbound webhooks are live now: pull orders from GET /orders or receive each one as an order.created webhook. The API documentation covers keys, paging, and signature headers.
A direct Clover connection that files phone orders without anyone typing is on our roadmap. It is not built today and we will not name a date we cannot keep. Clover is a solid register for an independent shop. We answer the phone in front of it.
If a Clover connection is what would decide it for you, tell us what you run. Shops that register interest get first access when it ships.
Plans are $29 a month for 150 included minutes, $99 for 500, and $199 for 1,000, with two months free if you pay annually. Phone ordering uses the restaurant order taking add-on at +$49/mo, free on Pro and free on every plan during early access. Starter and Growth auto-upgrade at 110% of included minutes rather than charging overage, so your busiest week never silences the line.
See the pricing page, tour the restaurant product, read the pizza shop and Chinese takeout editions, or browse every integration including Toast.
Not natively, and we will not pretend otherwise. Nothing installs on your Clover Station and nothing reads your Clover catalog. Siya takes the order on the phone, it lands on the AskSiya order board with a printable ticket, and somebody keys it into Clover. A native Clover connection is on our roadmap with no promised date, and our REST API and outbound webhooks are live today for anyone who wants to automate the handoff.
No. AskSiya sits entirely outside your payment stack. You forward your phone number to the local number we give you, and your merchant agreement, your terminal, and your processing rates are untouched. There is nothing for your reseller to approve or install.
Yes, that is the normal case. Sizes, halves, substitutions, sides, and cook temperatures come off the menu you upload, and she asks the follow-up questions before reading the whole order back with the tax-included total. Delivery calls capture street, unit, buzzer code, and driver notes on the ticket, and she offers pickup when an address falls outside the delivery boundaries you describe.
She transfers them. You can route to up to five labeled numbers, such as the counter phone, the kitchen, and your cell, under rules you write. Robocalls and cold calls get screened out before they ever ring anybody.
